Most totes are built to be photographed, not carried. This one is quilted in three layers, so it holds its shape instead of sagging into a bag-shaped rag by the second month. The Hummingbird & Purple Hibiscus design is worked into the quilting and wraps around the bag, so it looks finished from whichever side is facing out. Two sizes, because a paperback and a purse need less room than a full week's shop.

Three-layer quilted cotton:
Padded and stitched right through, so the bag stands up on its own and does not crease into permanent folds.
Box-stitched straps and base:
The straps are stitched into the seam rather than tacked on, and the base is reinforced. Built to carry weight, not just to hang on a hook.
The Hummingbird & Purple Hibiscus design:
Printed through the fabric rather than pressed on top, so it will not crack or peel where the bag folds.
Two sizes:
Small measures 38 × 36 cm (15" × 14") and Large 43 × 41 cm (17" × 16").
Care:
